Meningococcal (meningitis) B - vaccination

Service for the NHS time limited  Meningitis B Vaccination Programme available exclusively for

• Young people currently in school Year 13 (born between 1st September 2007 and 31st August 2008);

• All undergraduate freshers born on or after 21st July 2001 who will be attending university for the first time in autumn 2026

• Those born on or after 21st July 2001 who are starting further education for the first time in autumn 2026 and who will be living in further education accommodation or halls of residence.

Please note you will need to provide evidence of your date of birth as well as evidence of an offer from your chosen university or further education.  Examples of evidence are:

• Official email confirmation of your offer of a place at their chosen university or college from either the higher education (HE) institution (usually an .ac.uk email address) or the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS);

• A letter (hard copy or email) confirming you have received an offer of a place for the 2026/2027 academic year at their chosen university or college; or

• A screenshot of your offer of a place at their chosen university or college from the UCAS Hub.
